Roberts Chevrolet Buick of Platte City, Missouri will be supporting the Platte City youth baseball program for the 2010 season through a partnership of dealerships and Chevrolet. During the youth baseball games on Saturday morning, May 08, 2010, John Roberts presented the Platte City baseball league with new equipment for 10 teams. The equipment includes sport bags, water coolers, sport water bottles, clipboards for coaches, T-shirts and a monetary donation in support of funding for the league.
The teams and the league will have more opportunities to raise additional funds for equipment through special fundraiser tickets. The grand prize benefits the kids the most, one league in the United States will receive a Chevrolet baseball field makeover! So make sure to vote for the Platte City league. The sponsored league will have 2,000 tickets that can be purchased through donations to the league. 100% of the collected donations will go directly to that particular league. The tickets will be entered into a national drawing and five people will win a Chevrolet Equinox or Malibu (worth up to $30,000)! Secondary prizes will be home entertainment systems (valued at $1000).
